At the pre-match press conference, Valencia coach Carlos Colberán spoke about the team's upcoming La Liga match against Real Oviedo.  

Carlos Colberán said: "This game is crucial for everyone. Every detail on the table can have a huge impact, so every game is challenging. As they showed in the game, Real Oviedo is a very difficult team to play against at home. Just looking at the table is one thing, but actually watching them play is another. You'll find that they are a team that deserves more points, so this game is destined to be tough."  

“Real Oviedo is a very competitive team. They will put tremendous pressure on your half, pressing forward aggressively and challenging possession. They are not afraid to take risks when their defense is short-handed, which makes them a very difficult opponent. We have prepared very meticulously for this match and are well aware of how tough it will be. We know they have beaten us at the Mestalla Stadium before. Therefore, we need to be fully prepared and give it our all.”  

"No one mentioned that we would be facing the bottom team in La Liga, but that doesn't mean the game will be easy. We're going to have a tough match, so we need to be fully focused, stay highly concentrated, and adapt to the pace of the game quickly. Our opponents will adopt a very aggressive attacking strategy, which is exactly what we need to watch out for. Other factors are irrelevant; our focus is entirely on tomorrow's game."  

"No one doubts the ambition and strength of this team; it is at its peak. All our attention is focused on tomorrow's game against Real Oviedo, and thinking about other things will only distract us. We must demonstrate this in every game, and the whole team understands what we represent and who we are."
