Wolves boss Vitor Pereira urges players to stay positive ahead of final two games

As the Premier League season draws to a close, Wolves manager Vitor Pereira said that although the team has escaped the relegation and European competition zone, he still hopes that the players will face the last two games with a positive attitude.

Wolves' last second game will be away to FA Cup champions Crystal Palace. At the pre-match press conference, Pereira said: "We have changed our situation, which is something to be proud of, but it is not enough."

"It's about our own mentality, and this is the last picture we can leave of this season. I hope we play good football, enjoy the game and be proud of our work."

Pereira believes that Crystal Palace is the team they should be aiming for in the future. “Crystal Palace made it to the final because they deserved it and they are very stable,” Pereira said.

"We want to be a team that is consistent and competitive. Our goal this season is to get out of trouble, and next season we must perform steadily from the beginning to really strive for higher achievements."

Although the outside world has doubts about the motivation of the Wolves team, Pereira is firm: "It is not easy to maintain motivation, but this is the moment to test team spirit and professional attitude. We have to play our own content and show the fans what we really look like."

"I don't believe there is an end to the construction of a team. The team is alive and there is always room for growth. What we do is to keep improving and keep shaping the style of the Wolves."

Wolves have 41 points this season and are ranked 14th. In the last game of the season, Wolves will face Brentford at home. Pereira hopes that the team can end the season with consecutive victories and lay a positive foundation for the offseason.
