Wolves midfielder Marshall Munezi has revealed that the team, under the leadership of head coach Vitor Pereira, is preparing for the upcoming new season with a new structure and style at its core.

Munezi joined Wolves from Reims in January this year and quickly integrated into the system, becoming an important part of the team's rebound in the second half of the season. His versatility and high-intensity coverage ability provide key support for the team in multiple positions.

In a pre-season training match against Burnley last week, Munezi was one of the few players who played the full 90 minutes. In a recent interview, Munezi said: "Compared to the first game against Santa Clara, this game we are in better shape and have more strength in our legs."

"We had more time to prepare. Although there were some adjustments to the lineup, the performance in the first half was solid. The team is implementing what the coach instilled in training into the game, which is a positive sign."

Talking about Pereira's request, Munezi said: "We lost several starting players, so we must re-establish tacit understanding. Whether it is new players, old players or youth players, now is the best time to form a unified tactical understanding."

"The coach pays great attention to the establishment of defensive structure. We lost too many goals at the beginning of last season, so now we have to start with defense. We are also training how to maintain the continuity of the offensive end and strive for goals, but the most important thing is to build a stable overall structure so that the team has a clear style on the field and is more solid on the defensive end."

Munezi added that pushing the body to the limit at this stage is to be fully prepared for the start of the season. He believes that as training continues, Wolves will be in a stronger position to meet the challenges of the new season.
