Real Madrid's young defender Álvaro Carreras scored his first goal since joining the club in a 4-0 victory over Valencia.

The Spanish defender, who just returned to Real Madrid this summer for around €50 million, fulfilled his long-held dream of playing at the Bernabéu with a spectacular long-range shot. The young defender, a product of Real Madrid's youth academy and having played for several clubs, returned to his former club on July 14, 2025, signing a six-year contract.

After the match, Carreras couldn't hide his excitement in an interview with Real Madrid TV: "I've always said that these things can't be forced, they'll happen naturally. Thank God, I finally scored my first goal in this jersey, I'm really happy."
