Following the transfer window, Pablo Maffeo gave an exclusive interview to the club's official media. With the international break approaching, the defender discussed his future plans and what he aims to achieve for the remainder of the season.  

Pablo Maffeo said: "I will face the current situation bravely. I have always said that I am very happy in this city, but I also feel that my time here is up. Since this is not the case, I will give my all to the game. I will give my all as always. I have played for the club even when injured in the past and I will do so in the future. Whatever is good for the club is also good for me. From a competitive point of view, I have no concerns."  

"Ultimately, the root of the problem lies with me, and I must take my responsibilities, otherwise the situation will not improve. If I fail to do my job, the consequences could be very serious. But I firmly believe that the situation will not deteriorate to that point. Now is the time to pick myself up, work harder than anyone else, and reflect deeply on my past mistakes."  

"I want to be able to run down the wing, play my own style, and always obey the coach's instructions. Now, all my attention is on Real Mallorca. I feel the need to apologize to some people in the stands. I have to take this step on my own initiative. I will do this, so that at least in the future, whether I leave or end my career, I will not regret not trying my best."  

"I admit that it was wrong for me to stand up and tell them to shut up, because those words were not directed at me personally, but at the entire team. We were in a bad state at the time, the emotions were complicated, and many factors were mixed together. If any audience members felt offended by this, I apologize to them. Those slogans did hurt me. I don't like such words, and my reaction was not appropriate. This incident has attracted a lot of attention and it really shouldn't have happened."
