In the Premier League, West Ham United defeated Nottingham Forest 3-0. Mas Hermansson couldn't help but smile after his team kept a clean sheet, his first as a West Ham United player.  

After the game, Mas Hermansson said: "It was a great afternoon in Nottingham. We are happy to finally take the lead in the standings. Both teams kept a clean sheet, and we scored three goals and took the three points, which feels great."  

“I think everyone in the team played really well. Our defense was particularly good, allowing the opponent only a few crosses and a few shots that we could control. Overall, I am very satisfied with the team’s performance.”  

"As we discussed in the locker room, I think the team still has a lot of room for improvement in terms of the quality of ball possession. Therefore, we will definitely work hard to bring our overall performance to a higher level."  

The level-headed 25-year-old clearly won't be complacent with a win or a clean sheet, as he knows it's not a result or achievement that warrants excessive celebration.  

He continued: "I think the beauty of football is that there is always a new game next week. The key is not to get too excited about the victory or too depressed by the setbacks. We have to keep moving forward, and this game proved that as a team we are very strong."  

“I’ve always loved big competitions and I love showing off my abilities and how good we are as a team on a stage like this, so I can’t wait to get going!”  

While Maas Hermansson was happy to keep his own goal, he also enjoyed watching from the front row as Jarrod Bowen, Lucas Paqueta and Callum Wilson put the ball into the Nottingham Forest goal.  

He said: "I like to see the team score goals and I also enjoy the celebration. The celebration is always passionate. If we could get Jarrod's cooperation at the end, we could have scored a more exciting goal, but the opponent's save was very good. Overall, that goal was wonderful."
