Manchester United officially announced that 26-year-old Brazilian international Mateus Cunha has transferred from Wolves to join the team. The two sides signed a long-term contract until June 2030, with an option to extend for one year.

The quick completion of the deal reflects Manchester United's high regard for Cunha. In an interview, Cunha expressed his excitement about joining Manchester United: "It is difficult to express in words how I feel about becoming a Manchester United player."

Cunha has played for many clubs, including RB Leipzig, Atletico Madrid and Wolves. During his time with Wolves, Cunha made 65 appearances for the team and contributed 27 goals.
