Ricardo Pereira visibly frustrated after Leicester City's 1-4 away defeat to Queens Park Rangers. He stated that the team must find a way to build a positive winning streak. Prior to this match, Leicester City had accumulated seven points from three games, but this loss ended their previous good run. The home side held a four-goal lead at halftime.  

The home team's goals were contributed by Koki Saito, Richard Kone, Dembele Karamok, and Amadou Mbenguei. Later, Sirko Thomas scored to salvage some pride for Leicester City, his first goal for the first team. However, this goal came too late to capitalize on a counter-attack opportunity. Captain Ricardo Pereira expressed disappointment that the team failed to maintain their good form from the previous weeks.  

After the match, Ricardo Pereira said: "This game was indeed very difficult. We played well last week. We also mentioned before the game that it was a good start, but we must continue to move forward and remain consistent. If we want to stay in a good position in the standings, we must be more consistent."  

"We need to analyze the problem, not just focus on this one game. This has happened more than once, with the score widening at halftime. We make the game very difficult, and it's hard to come back after falling behind, which gives our opponents more confidence playing at home. This is a serious problem that we must face and never let it happen again."  

In the final stages of 2025, the team will play two home games against Watford and Derby County. Ricardo Pereira stated that the current focus is on restoring the team's stability before the New Year.  

He added: "We need to build good momentum and consistent good results, but unfortunately we haven't done that yet. This makes things more difficult because when the team is in good form and has a good week, everything seems to change. But after a disappointing game, it's tough for everyone."
