Crystal Palace suffered their first home defeat of the 2025/26 Premier League season after goals from Joshua Zirkzee and Mason Mount secured a three-point victory for Manchester United. In the first half, substitutes Ismaila Sarr and Eddie Nketiah spearheaded Crystal Palace's attack. Despite creating numerous chances in the first half, they ultimately only managed to score through a penalty from Jean-Philippe Mateta.
Eddie Nketiah reflected: "I think we had some highlights throughout the game, but unfortunately we couldn't capitalize on our chances. And conceding two set pieces was disappointing.
