Copa del Rey – Bernal's brace and Rafinha's penalty finish send Barcelona 3-4 on aggregate, eliminating Atletico Madrid from the final.

In the second leg of the 2025/26 Copa del Rey semi-final, Barcelona defeated Atletico Madrid 3-0 at home. However, due to Atletico's 4-0 victory in the first leg, Barcelona were ultimately eliminated in the semi-finals with an aggregate score of 3-4.

At the start of the first half, Barcelona launched an early attack. In the 2nd minute, Fermín López received a pass from Rafinha and unleashed a long-range shot, which was brilliantly saved by Juan Musso. In the 15th minute, Marc Bernal opted for a low shot from near the edge of the box, which was also successfully saved by Musso. In the 17th minute, Fermín delivered a corner kick from the right, and Ferran Torres's shot inside the box went just wide.

In the 22nd minute, Ramin Yamal broke through on the right and crossed the ball, causing David Hantzko to clear it poorly, but Torres' shot went over the crossbar. In the 24th minute, Yamal adjusted slightly on the edge of the penalty area before unleashing a powerful shot, which was saved by Musso. In the 29th minute, Yamal crossed from the left side of the penalty area, and Bernal finished to give Barcelona a 1-0 lead.

In the third minute of first-half stoppage time, Pedri broke into the penalty area and was brought down by Mark Puvilli, creating a penalty opportunity for the home team. Rafinha then deceived Musso and slotted the ball into the bottom left corner, bringing Barcelona to 2-4 on aggregate before halftime.

After the break, Barcelona continued to dominate the game. In the 55th minute, Yamal cut the ball back into the box from the right wing, and Cancelo's follow-up shot was saved by Musso. In the 72nd minute, Cancelo delivered a cross from the right flank, and Bernal scored again to complete his brace. However, Barcelona failed to break through the away team's defense again, and Atletico Madrid ultimately secured their qualification with a 4-3 aggregate score.
