Oliver Glasner praised Crystal Palace's important 1-0 victory over Burnley. Thanks to Daniel Muñoz's header near the end of the first half and their subsequent tenacious defensive performance, Crystal Palace successfully returned to winning ways.  

Crystal Palace rightfully secured a 1-0 lead in the first half for the third consecutive match. Unlike previous games, this victory was achieved through solid overall defense, brilliant saves by Dean Henderson, and a crucial goal-line clearance by Chris Richards.  

Oliver Glasner said: "To be honest, this is a very important victory and it means a lot to me. The game can be roughly divided into two phases: we played very well in the first 60 minutes, controlled the pace of the game, scored a beautiful goal, and created a great chance early in the second half; in the last 30 minutes, we held on to the end, held on to the goal line, and ultimately won the game. We did it."  

"The players showed tremendous resilience, and the fans provided tremendous support. Ultimately, we worked together to achieve a very important victory at Burnley. I have 100% faith in this group of players; they gave their all and did their best. Even in the last 30 minutes of the game, they wanted to perform better, but things didn't go as planned. We must accept the result and continue to support them."  

“I think we can’t expect to be perfect in every game right now; it’s too easy to play one-touch football. We lost the first two games because of set pieces, which is still hard to accept. But it’s this resilience that’s something to be proud of and that shows how great this team is.”  

Oliver Glasner pointed out that Daniel Muñoz scored the goal, his second consecutive Premier League away game for Crystal Palace and his fourth of the season. He said: "This goal is almost identical to the one against Newcastle United last season. We also scored a similar goal in the National League against Dynamo Kyiv, which reflects one of our commonly used attacking tactics. This is an important victory; after 14 rounds, we have 23 points, and I am very proud of the team."
