French attacker Magnus Aglioche admitted on Tuesday that he is open to a move to the Premier League.
Tomorrow, Monaco hosts Tottenham Hotspur in the third round of the 2025/26 UEFA Champions League. Ahead of the match, one of Tottenham's rumored targets, Akhtar Akhtar, said: "I'm flattered by these news and rumors, but I'm still a Monaco player. I'll definitely give my all in tomorrow's match against Tottenham."
"Will there be a Premier League game in the future? Why not? We'll talk about it later. The most important thing for me is tomorrow's game."
This summer, there was a lot of talk that Akliosh might join Tottenham Hotspur. The player was seen by Tottenham as a potential replacement for James Maddison, who was ruled out for the season due to a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee.
However, Tottenham eventually signed 22-year-old Dutch star Xavi Simons from RB Leipzig. Prior to this, Tottenham's attempts to buy Morgan Gibbs-White and Eberechi Eze had both failed.
Although Tottenham chose Simmons over Akliosh, their interest in him seems to have not faded. According to TBR Footbal, Tottenham sent scouts to observe Akliosh's performance in September and paid special attention to the movements of Akliosh, Van der Sen and Lamine Kamara.
The 23-year-old Akliosh primarily plays as a right winger, but can also operate in various positions, including attacking midfielder and right midfielder. He has been training with Monaco since 2017 and made his Ligue 1 debut for the first team on October 16, 2021.
To date, Akliosh has made 105 appearances for Monaco, scoring 18 goals and providing 18 assists. His outstanding performance at the club level has attracted close attention from Manchester City and Leverkusen in addition to Tottenham.
