Lazio defeated Cagliari 2-0 on matchday 10 of the 2025/26 Serie A season at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome on Monday.

In the first half, Marušić's long-range curling shot was saved, and Folorunsho's shot from a difficult angle was spectacularly blocked. In the second half, Isaksen volleyed and scored. At a crucial moment, Zaccagni scored with a powerful shot. Ultimately, Lazio defeated Cagliari 2-0. After picking up the loose ball, Folorunsho volleyed with his right foot from a difficult angle at the left side of the box, but his shot was saved by Provedel's outstretched legs at the last-minute by the bottom right corner of the post, Cagliari missed a golden opportunity to break the deadlock!

At halftime, Lazio and Cagliari were temporarily goalless.

Second Half

Both teams switched sides as the match continued. In the 52nd minute, Gabriele Zappa passes horizontally from the midfield center circle. In the first minute of stoppage time, Lazio made a deadly counter-attack. His shot flew straight into the high center of the net, leaving Capril no chance to react, and Lazio secured a 2-0 victory! This was the Lazio captain's 35th goal for the club!
