Jordan Henderson and Job Bellingham celebrate Sunderland's return to the Premier League

Jordan Henderson celebrated Sunderland's historic return to the Premier League with Job Bellingham at Wembley Stadium.

As one of the most outstanding graduates of Sunderland's youth training camp, Henderson, 34, who now plays for Dutch Eredivisie giants Ajax, appeared in the Wembley stands and witnessed the Black Cats' amazing comeback with more than 30,000 Sunderland fans - they defeated Sheffield United 2-1 in the promotion play-offs and successfully won promotion to the Premier League.

The situation was extremely unfavorable to Sunderland at the beginning of the game. Sheffield United scored first and maintained the lead throughout the first half. However, the situation changed suddenly in the second half. Sunderland showed tenacious fighting spirit and Tom Watson scored the winning goal in the 95th minute of stoppage time, ending the team's eight-year journey in the English Championship.

After the game, Henderson posted a photo with Bellingham's brother Job on social media and wrote: "MOM also led Sunderland back to the Premier League! Not bad today."

Henderson started out in Sunderland's youth training and made his first-team debut in 2008, quickly becoming a key player in the midfield. He played 79 games in three seasons and then moved to Liverpool for £20 million before turning 21, starting a new chapter in his career.

Henderson's season in the Eredivisie has been full of twists and turns. He fought with Ajax until the last round of the season, but eventually lost to PSV Eindhoven by one point and missed out on the Eredivisie title.

Despite the regretful end to the club season, Henderson was still selected for the new England squad. Under the leadership of new coach Thomas Tuchel, the Three Lions will face Andorra in a World Cup qualifier on June 7, followed by a friendly against Senegal at Nottingham Forest on June 10.
