Kelleher has officially completed his move to Brentford Football Club. He has signed a five-year contract with the club, including a 12-month option to extend at the club's discretion. The goalkeeper explained why he chose to move from Liverpool to Brentford.  

Kelleher said: "I am very excited and I am very happy to be here. I think it is the right decision to leave Liverpool now. From a career point of view, it is time for me to pursue more game opportunities and become a starting goalkeeper for a team."  

"I had been told a few weeks ago that there was interest in me. When it was confirmed that Brentford were willing to sign me, I was very excited and eager to join the team as soon as possible."  

“When I return for pre-season training, I am fully focused on my plans and objectives for the new season, trying to improve on the areas that need improvement and contribute to a good season for Brentford.”  

Kelleher also revealed that talks with manager Thomas Frank have convinced him that Brentford is the ideal place for him to move on from Anfield.  

In addition, Kelleher also said: "I came here to meet the head coach and some members of the coaching staff. The coaching staff explained to me why they wanted me to join and took me to visit the training facilities, which gave me a deeper understanding of the overall operation of the club."  

"They explained in detail why they wanted me to join them and how they would help me improve technically and tactically. This impressed me and made me believe that Brentford is a very suitable place for my development."
