As the game entered the final 15 minutes, West Ham United chose to retreat to their own half to try to defend their slim lead, but in the third minute of stoppage time, Leslie Ugochukwu scored to help the team equalize the score, and West Ham United's defense failed to successfully hold on to the victory.
