Klopp is irreplaceable and proud to have coached Salah.

Mohamed Salah, nicknamed the "Egyptian Prince," previously announced that he would leave Liverpool, the Premier League giants he has played for for many years, at the end of this season. Jurgen Klopp stated that the star player has set a new standard for professional footballers and that he was very proud to have coached Salah.

The 34-year-old Salah joined Liverpool in 2017 and has helped the "Reds" win two Premier League titles, one Champions League title, one European Super Cup title, one Club World Cup title, one FA Cup title, and one League Cup title during his long nine years with the club.

In terms of personal achievements, Salah has also won the Premier League Golden Boot four times.

Former Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp recently said in an interview, "Salah is an incredible player. He set a new standard for professional footballers, including how hard they can train, how much they invest in recovery and everything else. Now he's leaving, but I wouldn't be surprised if he could play for another 6 or 7 years."

“I feel sad, but there is no doubt that he is one of the greatest players in history, and I am very proud to have been a part of his career.”

Furthermore, with Salah gone, the Reds will face a significant challenge in finding suitable strike options or replacing him. However, Klopp emphasized that Liverpool must find a new way of playing.

Klopp pointed out, "This type of player is irreplaceable. Of course, there will be players to fill the gap, but if it's a specific player like Salah, I'm not sure if there's a second one in the world. There are other players with different strengths and characteristics on the wings, but Salah's statistics are unparalleled."

“His stats are amazing for a winger, and almost no one can match them even as a striker. So since we can’t completely replace him, why insist on replicating him? When we lost Mane, we could cheer and sing for him, for what a great player he was, and for how wonderful Firmino was.”

Klopp also said, "When Wijnaldum left, many people probably didn't realize how much of a loss it was until he was really gone, and then they realized that he had a combination of many qualities such as technique, strength, and tactical discipline. But later other players stepped up, so don't chase shadows, find new ways to play."
