Cuomo officially announced on Thursday that Spanish center back Jacobo Ramon has joined from Real Madrid. The two sides signed a five-year contract that will be valid until June 30, 2030.

Commenting on Jacobo Ramon's arrival, Como coach Cesc Fabregas said: "Jacobo is a young player with great potential. He has come through one of the most competitive youth training systems in the world and has continued to hone his skills within this environment. We are confident that he will have a very positive impact on our team."

According to multiple Spanish media reports, Cuomo will purchase 50% of Ramon's ownership for €2.5 million, while Real Madrid retains the right of first refusal to buy the player back for €8 million within the next three years.

The 20-year-old Ramón grew up in Real Madrid's youth system and made his first-team debut in the Champions League on January 22, 2025. To date, he has made six appearances for Real Madrid, scoring one goal and winning both the Champions League and the UEFA Super Cup.

Due to the fierce competition for central defenders at Real Madrid, Ramon was unable to get stable playing time in the short term. In order to seek more opportunities for growth and development, he finally decided to move to Serie A.

After completing the transfer, Ramón said: "I am very happy. This is an amazing project and I am fortunate to be able to participate in it and contribute to the team. I have communicated with the coach and his ideas will be a source of motivation for us. I have also met some of the players who are now my teammates, such as Assane Diao, Jesus Rodriguez and Nico Paz. They told me that the team is very united and I am ready to integrate."
