Newcastle United manager reveals Lewis Hall's injury recovery is progressing well and he is expected to return to the squad.

Newcastle United manager Eddie Howe recently stated that defender Lewis Hall is nearing recovery from injury and is expected to return to the squad. The England full-back has been sidelined for over a month with injury, last appearing in the Carabao Cup third round home game against Bradford City.

With the team preparing for Sunday's away game against West Ham United, Eddie Howe said he hopes to welcome the 21-year-old back to the team in the near future.

Eddie Howe spoke to the media before the game, saying, "Lewis Hall is close to returning to play. He hasn't participated in team training yet, and hopefully he can get back into training as soon as possible. We will decide when to bring him back based on his performance. He has been training and recovering well and looks to be in good shape, but we need to find the right time to bring him back to the game."

"There have been no new injuries to the team. We are still monitoring William Osura's ankle condition and will conduct further assessments based on his recovery. Apart from that, everything else remains unchanged."

“West Ham United have outstanding players, especially in attack where they are very threatening. We must do everything we can to limit their attacking space. Their previous away performances have been unsatisfactory, and we hope to turn things around in this match.”

“It was a tough game because we had just played Fulham, which made this match especially important, and our victory was hard-won. We are looking forward to the next game, but we are happy to be at home. The game against West Ham is very important for us, and the next two games are crucial before the upcoming international break.”
