Despite scoring his first goal since joining the team this summer in their 2-3 defeat to Sunderland, Armin Adli said the loss was painful.  

A Moroccan player opened the scoring, but Bournemouth's Taylor Adams then made it 2-0 with a 40- yard shot. However, Andoni Iraola's team failed to maintain their lead, conceding three goals in the second half to complete a comeback.  

Reflecting on the disappointing match, Amin Adli stated that the team will respond positively. He said, "We showed many bright spots, but matches like this often come down to the details. This loss is painful, especially after taking a 2-0 lead."  

"We should have taken the three points when we were up 2-0, which is a shame. I think the penalty awarded for their first goal was probably controversial because Adrian Truffaut and Marcus Tafnir were both fouled during the attack. Although that penalty changed the course of the game, there is still room for improvement in our defense."  

Despite recent disappointing matches, Amin Adli believes the team's performance over the past few weeks shows they have the ability to turn things around. He stated, "Football matches are often decided in crucial moments, but this is not unexpected for us. We know our capabilities, and we just need to show the level we occasionally displayed in the last two matches in the upcoming games."  

Armin Adli scored his first Premier League goal, a significant milestone for him personally. However, the striker quickly emphasized the importance of the team, saying, "I fight for the team; personal statistics aren't the most important thing. Even if I score, it doesn't mean much to me if the team loses. I always put the team first."
