Commenting on his start to the season, Carles Alenya said: "Overall, my feelings are very positive. Both my personal and the team's form is excellent, and we achieved our goal of getting points at the Estadio Mendy."  

"We had a positive start to the season, with a win and a draw against Atletico Madrid, a very strong team. Overall, our form is satisfactory, but we must improve further in our away games."  

"I think Alaves had the advantage in terms of ball possession. Defensively, we continued the rhythm we had at the end of last season, showing a compact, united and organized overall style. More importantly, I saw a positive improvement in the team's ball possession."
