Valencia CF head coach Carlos Colberán gave a media interview at the Mestalla Stadium after the team's 1-1 draw in the 12th round of La Liga.  

Carlos Colberán said: "Although today's result was not as expected, the team's performance on the field fully demonstrated the style and spirit we hope to cultivate. Whether in terms of commitment or control of the game's tempo, Valencia is moving in the right direction. We must maintain this attitude, focus, and organization, because excellent performance is always the foundation for good results. As long as we continue to work hard like this, we can get closer to our goals."  

“Sometimes, a high-intensity approach to the game can help us find our strengths to exploit. At the start of the match, Peperou moved flexibly between the center-backs, while José Luis Gaya and Thierry Correa used their height advantage, combined with the well-placed positioning of Diego López and Arnault Danjuma, to keep us highly efficient in attack. Through wing play and constant running, we found an effective way to create scoring opportunities.”  

"Defensively, I noticed the team displayed strong attacking prowess when advancing into the attacking third, while maintaining composure and solidity near the penalty area when tracking back. The opponents possess some players capable of influencing the course of the game, posing a significant threat in the box. Overall, the team demonstrated the right mentality. We conceded a goal in the second half due to a mistake, but we weren't under significant pressure at the time. What I admire most is the players' responsiveness, resilience, and never-give-up spirit. Their determination to keep moving forward demonstrated the team's will to achieve the next stage of their goals, and they fought with all their might until the very end."
