Chelsea were held to a 2-2 draw at home by Leeds United, with manager Liam Rosenior admitting his dissatisfaction with a period when the team lost control.

Led by João Pedro and Cole Palmer, the team took a dream start, leading 2-0, but quickly collapsed, allowing Leeds United to fight back and equalize. After the match, Rossinier couldn't hide his disappointment, believing that the team paid a heavy price for their poor decisions at crucial moments.

Rossinier pointed out that although the team dominated for most of the time, just two moments of lapse in concentration cost them the victory. He specifically mentioned Moi Caicedo's mistake in handling the penalty, and the team's lapse in concentration during the subsequent second goal conceded.

“It’s absurd,” Rossinier reflected. “The opponent scored two goals in just five minutes, and for the rest of the 90 minutes, we were clearly the better team. We were perfect in possession, pressing and energy, which made the final result feel like swallowing a bitter pill.”

In addition to missing out on three points, Rossini also confirmed that key defender Marc Cucurella was forced to leave the field at halftime due to a hamstring injury, and the extent of the injury is pending further scans.

Despite the disappointing result, Rossinier tried to find positive signs in the draw. He emphasized that the team showed incredible potential and that he saw the football he wanted for 90% of the game.

Rossinier said: "If we can learn to stay focused for the entire 90 minutes, this team has a bright future. I know what we need to improve, and the key now is to buy time to implement it."
