David Moeller Wolff said the key to the cup match against Grimsby Town was solid fundamental football. He was pleased that Wolves ultimately advanced to the next round. During the match, Wolves faced not only poor pitch conditions and torrential rain, but also a strong League Two opponent.  

Despite facing numerous challenges, Wolves adapted well to the pace of the game. A winning goal from Santiago Bueno, about an hour into the match, secured their advancement. The player, making his first start since the previous round against Grimsby Town, stepped up alongside his teammates and was delighted to continue their FA Cup journey.  

David Müller Wolf said: "We are very happy to have advanced. We knew it wouldn't be a smooth and exciting game, and it would be difficult to play in our ideal style, so the key was to do the basics well. We had a tough first half, but we improved significantly in the second half. I think the team did its best."  

“Our only goal today was to advance. We knew this game wouldn’t be as easy as the FA Cup match against Shrewsbury. It was a tough game that required our full effort, and I’m glad the team did it in the end.”  

“The game was indeed very tough, especially the first 15 to 20 minutes. Then we gradually adapted to the rhythm of the game, and we also joked with the opponents and discussed the condition of the pitch. They were also a bit dissatisfied with the pitch. All we could do was give it our all. I am very happy that Santi scored the first goal for us, because in this kind of game, the side that scores first often wins, and I am glad that we did it.”  

“I was tackled just five minutes into the game. It was a beautiful tackle, which shows the charm of English football. I could only bear it, but luckily the injury wasn’t serious. Although I’m still a bit stiff, I will recover as soon as possible.”  

"This is exactly the standard we strive for. For me, the most basic requirement is to give it my all and do my best. We came here not to boast or complain about the field conditions, but to make the most of what we have, and we did that especially in the second half."  

David Moeller Wolf, speaking about the upcoming match against Arsenal, said: "It will be an important and tough challenge, as Arsenal are currently at the top of the table. However, we gave them a lot of trouble a few weeks ago, and I believe we are capable of doing it again."
