Emmanuel Agbadu stated that Wolves players will give their all to improve their performance in the remainder of the season, aiming for a change from their previous slump. So far this season, Wolves have only managed 2 points in 15 Premier League matches, placing them at the bottom of the table. They recently suffered another defeat at home against Manchester United at Molineux Stadium.
Wolves have previously finished bottom of the league at Christmas but managed to avoid relegation. While replicating that feat this season would require a near-miraculous comeback, Emmanuel Agbadou remains convinced that the players are improving and giving their all.
Emmanuel Agbadu said: "We failed to capitalize on our limited chances against Manchester United, and that's how it ended. To win, we must take our chances, and they were clearly better at it than we were, which determined the outcome of the game."
“Next, we must go back to the training ground and work hard to make up for our shortcomings. While some of the problems stemmed from Manchester United’s performance, the overall intensity of the game also played a role. In the second half, we failed to gain the upper hand in duels, while they were more aggressive in that area and took the initiative as a result.”
"Their counterattacks were very sharp, and they also seized several key scoring opportunities, which became the deciding factor in the game. When we are in our current predicament, these kinds of situations make the game even more difficult. But we will not give up, we will do our best to at least finish the season successfully."
