Jordan Ayew reviewed Leicester City's 3-1 victory over Ipswich Town, which extended their unbeaten run in the Championship. After securing four points in two consecutive away games, Matty Sifuentes led the team back to the King Power Stadium. In the first half, Bobby de Cordoba-Reid and Abdel Fattah al-Fatou each scored brilliant goals, before Jordan Ayew converted a cross from Ricardo Pereira to score his third goal of the day.  

Jens Cayuster pulled one back for the visitors, but Manchester City ultimately held on to their lead, ending a disappointing midweek draw against Bristol City. City led by two goals at one point in the first half and maintained their advantage.  

Jordan Ayew said: "In Thursday's game, we were leading 2-0, but we had a bad start to the second half and then struggled. Our opponents then found their rhythm and equalized. Today, we are fortunate to be leading 2-0 again and hope to have a good start to the second half as well."  

“I think we played very well and that’s why we scored. I’m happy to score for the team and I also want to thank my teammates. Every player has worked hard in the last three games, and we’ve remained unbeaten, so we need to keep this up.”  

“It was a tough game, which we expected, but we also knew we would have opportunities. We took our chances, although we conceded a goal we shouldn’t have. Overall, the team played very well, and we need to maintain a positive attitude and continue to work hard.”  

Speaking about Abdul Fatau's brilliant goal in his own half, his national teammate Jordan Ayew said it wasn't the first time Fatau had attempted such a daring shot. Earlier this season, Fatau made a similar attempt against Swansea City, though he also nearly scored.  

Jordan Ayew added: "He's maintained this style for years, even with the national team. Although we sometimes yell at him, his persistent efforts are commendable. He's a top player, playing with instinct. Scoring a goal like that is fantastic, and I'm happy for him."
