The 12th round of the 2025/26 Bundesliga season will take place, with RB Leipzig traveling to face Borussia Mönchengladbach. Head coach Ole Werner stated that his opponents have gotten back on track after a difficult period, and therefore urged Leipzig to avoid mistakes in possession to prevent Borussia Mönchengladbach from having counter-attacking opportunities.

In the previous Bundesliga match, RB Leipzig defeated Werder Bremen 2-0 after goals from Vedraogo and Schlager. With four wins and one loss in their last five matches, Leipzig currently sits atop the table with 25 points, six points behind league leaders Bayern Munich.

As for Borussia Mönchengladbach, Eugen Polanski's team has won three consecutive games and is currently ranked 12th in the standings with 12 points.

RB Leipzig coach Ole Werner said, "Borussia Mönchengladbach have gradually recovered after a difficult start, winning their last three league matches and advancing to the next round of the German Cup. Their playing style is very mature and well-defined. They are extremely threatening in transition attacks, and set pieces are also a threat they can create."

"They are good at finding space when they have possession, and then they will suddenly accelerate to launch an attack. Their counter-attacking ability is very strong, and they have a clear and efficient style of play."

Ole Werner continued, "The key is for us to avoid mistakes when we have possession and not give Borussia Mönchengladbach any counter-attacking opportunities. At the same time, we must also create enough threats in the attacking third, because their defense has been excellent recently."
