The 10th round of the 2025/26 Premier League season saw Arsenal, playing at Moa'a Stadium, defeat newly promoted Burnley 2-0 thanks to goals from Dzekeresh and Rice.

In the 14th minute, Rice took a corner kick, Gabriel headed the ball across, and Dzekeresh headed it in from close range, giving Arsenal a 1-0 lead. In the 19th minute, Arsenal attacked again from a corner kick, and Timber rose to head the ball but it went wide.

In the 21st minute, Calafiori received a cross from Trossard in the penalty area, took a few steps, and then shot, but the ball was deflected by an opposing player and went over the post. A minute later, Arsenal launched another attack, and Saka received the ball and fired a low shot while dealing with the defense, but it was saved by Burnley goalkeeper Dubravka.

In the 32nd minute, Saka received a diagonal pass from his teammate and took a shot from inside the penalty area, but the ball was saved by Burnley goalkeeper Dubravka. Trossard's follow-up shot was also cleared. In the 35th minute, Trossard met the ball and crossed it from the left wing. Rice headed the ball into the net, helping Arsenal maintain a 2-0 lead over Burnley.

In the 45th minute, Martin Zuwemendi chipped a pass into the penalty area, and Trossard took a shot, but the ball was caught by Burnley goalkeeper Dubravka.

At the start of the second half, Arsenal substituted Merino for Dzekeresh. In the 56th minute, Trossard received a long pass and broke through to the edge of the penalty area before unleashing a long-range shot, which Burnley goalkeeper Dubravka immediately dived to collect. In the 66th minute, Saka dribbled into the penalty area and passed back to Timber, who took a shot, but it posed no threat.

In the 70th minute, Burnley launched a passing combination. Hartmann received the ball and chipped it into the penalty area, where Zian Fleming headed it directly, but the shot lacked power and was easily caught by Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya. In the 73rd minute, Burnley attacked again, with Florentino Luiz heading the ball over the bar.

In the 82nd minute, Envaneri gained possession in the center circle and sprinted to the edge of the penalty area before unleashing a long-range shot, but the ball went wide of the post. In stoppage time of the second half, Merino created an attacking opportunity, and Nergo received the ball and fired a long-range shot, but it was saved by Burnley goalkeeper Dubravka.

Five minutes later, Burnley won a free kick. Marcus Edwards took the free kick and opted for a direct shot, but the ball hit the post and was cleared by an opposing player.

Arsenal ultimately defeated Burnley 2-0 at home. With their fifth consecutive win, Arsenal currently sit atop the league table with 25 points.
