Head coach Sebastian Hoeness, Atakan Karazor and Maximilian Mittelstaedt shared their feelings after Stuttgart's 4-0 win over Augsburg in the Bundesliga.
Sebastian Hoeness said: "We started very well and deserved to be ahead. Then, due to the red card, we still maintained control of the game. Although we were a little tired towards the end of the first half, we attacked aggressively from the beginning in the second half and completely controlled the game. With other goals, we achieved our goal. I am happy for the players. They persevered to the end and deserved to win this game."
Atakan Karazor said: "We fully deserved this victory and it was very important for us. I am happy with the goal I scored, but I am even happier that we won the last home game of the season. Facing Augsburg's tight defense, we created many chances and successfully took four of them, which was really great. Hopefully, we can continue to enjoy this form in the next two weeks."
Maximilian Mittelstaedt said: "It feels really good to win. We were eager to win in our last home game of the season and I'm glad we got it in the end. Obviously, the opponent had a man sent off early in the game, which gave us the advantage in numbers."
"It was fun to see us take advantage of those chances. Most importantly, we stayed tight defensively and celebrated every interception we made. This win gives us a lot of confidence heading into the final stretch of the season."
