February 19th - According to renowned reporter Shams Charania, Wagner will be sidelined indefinitely due to soreness following a high ankle sprain in his left foot. The Orlando Magic officially announced that the latest examination results show Wagner still needs more time and rehabilitation, and the team will reassess his recovery in three weeks.
Since being injured against the Knicks on December 7th , Wagner has missed 25 of the last 29 games and has never played more than two consecutive games since the injury occurred. This season, he has played 28 games , averaging 21.3 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 3.6 assists, with a field goal percentage of 47.9% .
In terms of record, the Magic are currently in contention in the Eastern Conference with a 28-25 record. When Wagner plays, the team's record is 16-12 , and when he is absent, it's 12-13 . He has missed 25 games this season, setting a new career high for missed games in a single season.
