Sevilla FC head coach Matías Almeida attended a press conference before the 10th La Liga match against Real Sociedad, to be played at Real Sociedad's home stadium. The Argentine coach emphasized the team's diverse roster, selecting players who excel in various areas. He emphasized the team's commitment to unity and a strong fight.  

At the press conference, Matias Almeida said: "The injured players were crucial, they set the tone for the game, but this is football. The other players are ready and when the opportunity comes, they will show the level they deserve."  

"We can't discuss last year's situation because I wasn't in the locker room at the time. If we have one point more this year than last, it's because we have more room for improvement. The team is improving step by step. At the beginning of the season, the squad was not stable and not all players were registered. We are trying to get back on track and it will take time, but progress is showing. We have to stay strong and face our mistakes. This is a process of gradual improvement."  

"We controlled the tempo of the game until Real Mallorca scored the first goal. I didn't consider making any changes because their forwards were mainly playing out wide. Those nine minutes were very fast-paced. If I had seen that situation in hindsight, I might have played differently, but that's too late now."  

"Their score doesn't fully reflect their strength. The team has many excellent players and a complete tactical system. Although they usually perform poorly, they occasionally burst into action. The opponent is very challenging. We must limit their advantages through our own tactical arrangements while not paying too much attention to their current form."
