After entering the NBA , Bridges had limited opportunities with the Suns' first team, appearing in just eight games, averaging 1.1 points and 0.5 rebounds in 3.8 minutes per game . However , he performed well with the Valley Suns in the Development League, averaging 14.3 points and 5.7 rebounds in 31 games while shooting 42.5% from the field and 38.6% from three-point range .

Bridges played briefly for the Celtics in this year's Summer League, averaging 8 points and 3.2 rebounds per game, while also displaying some defensive and help defense.
