Valencia CF manager Carlos Colberán gave a media interview after the team defeated Levante CF and won the derby.  

Carlos Colberán said: "Talking about the future is very difficult for me. It's easier said than done. What's more important is that the team has shown the same fighting spirit and determination from the very beginning."  

"The result of the game is important, but what's even more important is letting the fans feel how much we value the game. That's exactly our goal—to express our feelings and, in doing so, to win the cheers of the fans, because that's what matters most."  

“The rivalry between us is very obvious, that’s a fact. I always treat this competition with the utmost respect because it’s very meaningful to participate in such a match. The team had suffered two consecutive defeats in the previous week, which made the whole team eager for a victory. The atmosphere of the match was tense, and we started well, but then we had a hard time keeping Levante pinned in their own half. In the second half, the team gradually took control of the game, limited the opponent’s attack, and created more opportunities.”  

“We needed this victory because today’s points are crucial. It’s not just me personally who matters, but Valencia CF. Taking these three points is very important. As I said last year, it’s a marathon test that requires resilience, and that’s exactly what we’re in now. We have to give our all in every game, and I’m pleased with the competitive spirit the team has shown.”  

“We have to understand the game. Levante’s pressing was very effective. After tactical adjustments, we found a better fit for Raji Ramazzani in the second half and started looking for passing opportunities to advance the ball forward, which is exactly what we wanted.
