Augsburg officially announce the signing of Basel's Germany U21s winger Anton Kade..

Augsburg announced on its official website on Tuesday that the club has signed Germany U21s international winger Anton Kade from Basel.

According to the Bundesliga club's official statement m the German club, Kade has signed on a long-term four-year deal with the club which runs until the summer of 2029. He will also wear the number 30 jersey.

According to an agreement between the two clubs, neither the club nor the media will disclose Kade's transfer fee.

After completing his joining procedures, Kade, who was interviewed by the Augsburg official website for the first time, said, "I'm very excited to be returning to Germany. My time in Basel was an important experience for me, but I feel that coming to Augsburg is the perfect next step in my personal development."

"Conversations with the coaching staff and management have completely convinced me. My goal is to adapt quickly and enjoy a successful season with the club."

About Anton Kade

Kade, who is only 21, was born in Germany's capital Berlin on January 17, 2004. He is 1.85 meters tall and primarily plays as a right winger, but can also play as a left winger or right-wing back. His older brother, Julius, is also a professional footballer, who is currently playing as a midfielder for Emmen.

Kade joined Hertha Berlin's youth academy at the age of eight and completed his first-team debut by coming on as a substitute in February 2022.

In July of the same year, Kade joined Basel for €700,000.

During his three-year spell at Basel, Kade played 107 times for the club in all competitions, scored 13 goals and provided 10 assists. During which he has helped the club complete the Swiss Super League and Swiss Cup double once.
