Alejandro Ganacho to wear number 49 for Chelsea

Premier League club Chelsea has officially confirmed that Argentine rising star Alejandro Ganacho, who joined from Manchester United this summer, will wear the No. 49 jersey in the new season.
The number is of particular significance to Ganacho, as it was his shirt number in the first two seasons of his time in Manchester United's first team. The 21-year-old Ganacho completed his transfer last Saturday and was at Stamford Bridge to watch Chelsea's 2-0 victory over Fulham in the London derby.
In an interview, Ganaccio expressed his expectations for the new journey: "I have a winning mentality, passion and a strong personality. This is a perfect fit for Chelsea, a club that just won the Club World Cup and is now at the top. I will go all out and fight for the club and the fans."
Ganacho has been training with his new team-mates at Cobham this week and is in good form. He is expected to make his Chelsea debut in the away game against Brentford on September 13.
An Argentine international, Ganacho's arrival injects more firepower and dynamism into Chelsea's attack. He is expected to continue the pace and creativity he displayed at Manchester United and become a key cog in coach Enzo Maresca's tactical system.
