Ahead of the second leg of the Champions League semi-final against Barcelona, Inter Milan defender Alessandro Bastoni expressed the team's firm belief, desire for victory and reflected on the first leg.

At the pre-match press conference, Bastoni made no secret of the team's determination, saying: "We are only two games away from the Champions League trophy. We will not only fight 120%, we will give 200% effort."

“We know that reaching the Champions League semi-finals is not an opportunity that comes every year and everyone is eager to stand on this stage. The team is full of confidence and enthusiasm and we can’t wait to face the game tomorrow night.”

Looking back at the 3-3 draw in the first leg, Bastoni admitted: "We watched a lot of videos before the game, but only after the actual match can we understand the opponent's rhythm and threat."

"We made some mistakes when passing the ball and missed the possibility of creating more scoring opportunities. We have learned from that game and will be more prepared this time."

Bastoni expressed his feelings at the moment with a hint of pride and gratitude: "I am extremely proud of our journey this season. Everyone worked very hard. We hardly had any days off, but we always kept fighting, just to give our best to make the fans happy."

When asked if Inter have reached the top of Europe, Bastoni responded: "Absolutely. Our performances have shown that. We never shy away from a challenge and we won't now. The field of play never lies and now it is telling everyone that we belong at the top of Europe."
