Oklahoma City Thunder shooting guard Alex Caruso recently talked about the challenges he faced on the court in an interview and said that Stephen Curry and LeBron James are very difficult opponents to deal with.

In the 2024/25 NBA season, Alex Caruso averaged 7.1 points per game for the Oklahoma City Thunder and shot 41.1% from 3-point range. In addition, Alex Caruso performed very well during the playoffs and was one of the key figures in the Oklahoma City Thunder's championship.

"One thing that people always talk about with Stephen Curry, but I think some fans don't understand, is that Stephen Curry is most dangerous when he doesn't have the ball, because even if he's dribbling and passing the ball, they're suddenly running non-stop," Alex Caruso said of dealing with Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry on the court.

"He and Draymond Green have a really good chemistry, knowing where he's going to be and how to read the defense. As a guard, I feel like there's going to be guys trying to screen and they're always able to get away with it."

As for Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James, Alex Caruso said, "He would always post up on me because he's big, about 100 pounds heavier than me, and I never defended him when he was physically at his best. He's in his 20th season now, and his style of play is more mature, and he can still jump high and play strong."

"But what I noticed is that when he deals with me, he will start to play low, and his lateral speed and explosiveness in pushing down are not so fast now. It's not the way I'm used to defending because I like to press closely. But once he is established in the low post, it will be another challenge."
