Aston Villa have officially announced the signing of 19-year-old Brazilian winger Alysson.

As Aston Villa's first signing of the winter transfer window, this youngster, a product of Grêmio's youth academy, will begin a new chapter in his professional career in central England.

Alisson made 34 appearances in Brazil's top league last season, attracting attention from European football with his outstanding dribbling skills. In an interview with Aston Villa's official website, the 19-year-old couldn't hide his excitement: "I'm really happy. This is not only my dream, but also my whole family's dream."

It is understood that Alisson will wear the number 47 jersey for Aston Villa. Despite the significant cultural differences between the two countries, Alisson has shown great enthusiasm for adapting to life in England.
