The new La Liga season has begun, and Real Madrid will face Osasuna at home. Coach Xabi Alonso gave an interview to the media and talked about the team's preparations, lineup competition and commitment to the fans.

Alonso stressed that Real Madrid is moving steadily towards its expected goals, and internal competition will be an important force to push forward. As for the fans, he would rather use practical actions to prove the team's determination.

At the pre-match press conference, Alonso admitted: "We are making progress. There is no quantitative yardstick to fully evaluate the level, but we are indeed moving in the right direction. When it comes to his promise to the fans, Alonso chose to be pragmatic: "I prefer actions rather than empty promises. In football, promises made before results are usually meaningless. We are working hard, and people can feel the excitement and anticipation."
