Premier League club Arsenal officially announced that Spanish goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga has officially joined the team and will wear the No. 13 jersey.

Arizabalaga, 30, is experienced and has won many honors in the Premier League and Europe. His joining will greatly enhance Arsenal's goalkeeping depth.

Arrizabalaga was born in northern Spain. He grew up in the youth training system of Athletic Bilbao since he was 10 years old. He was later promoted to the first team and accumulated valuable practical experience in Ponferradina and Valladolid.

In 2018, Arrizabalaga joined Chelsea for a record transfer fee, during which time he helped the team win the Champions League, Europa League, European Super Cup and Club World Cup.

In the 2023-24 season, Arrizabalaga was loaned to Real Madrid and won the Champions League and Spanish Super Cup with the team. Last season, he played for Bournemouth, played 35 games in all competitions, and maintained a stable performance.

After signing, Arrizabalaga expressed his expectations for the new chapter: "I am really happy to come to Arsenal. After talking with Mikel and Inaki, I feel the team's strong desire and ambition to win. I believe we are very close to victory and hope we can achieve our goals together."
