England's "Three Lions" will host Uruguay in an international friendly at Wembley Stadium. Tuchel stated that Ben White, returning to the national team, deserves a chance, adding that the defender is very keen to come back.

Tuchel said, "We'll start from there and see if he can be as confident and comfortable as he expects. So far, that seems to be the case. He has my support, and I hope the fans will support him too."

When asked about Real Madrid defender Trent Alexander-Arnold's omission from the squad, Tuchel said, "It was just a choice from a sporting perspective, and it was difficult. It might be unfair in some ways, but a decision had to be made. I chose Ben White because I saw his performance in the League Cup final against Manchester City, and before that he played a Champions League game against Bayer Leverkusen and quickly regained his form."

"This is also an opportunity for me to observe him up close and see how he integrates into the team. I know very well what Arnold can bring to us, so I chose to call up Ben White and Livramento and continue to trust the players who performed well in the previous training camps."

Tuchel continued, "They also need playing time, and the competition for that right-back position is very fierce. Jed Spence is also vying for a World Cup opportunity, so I didn't want to exclude them.
