With the 2025-26 season underway, the latest Kia MVP rankings have been released, with Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokic rising to the top of the list with an almost unstoppable performance, once again demonstrating his status as the league's most dominant player.

Jokic has been on fire over the past week, including a high-scoring performance of 55 points, an all-around stat line of 33 points, 15 rebounds and 16 assists, and an efficient game with 26 points without needing to shoot any free throws.

So far this season, Jokic has shot an impressive 67% from the field, ranks first in the league in both rebounds and assists, and has consistently led the Nuggets to a stellar 9-2 start with triple-doubles. Nuggets head coach David Adelman even praised him as the most efficient player he has ever seen in his career.

Last week's number one Oklahoma City Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander slipped to second place, but remains highly efficient and consistent. He has gone 13 games without needing to play the fourth quarter in seven of them, thanks to securing victories for his teams in the first three quarters.
