After being forced to rest for six weeks due to knee stress reaction, Costa Nedelkovic took some time to reveal his plans to return to the court.  

He said, "I'm in good shape and returned to team training last week. The match against Hoffenheim is a bit early for me, but I've already spoken with the coach. I will do my best to recover in time for the match against Werder Bremen."  

The 19-year- old's outstanding performance in his first half-season at RB Leipzig has given the club ample reason to extend his loan spell at Aston Villa.  

Costa Nedelkovic said: "Even as a young player, I felt fully trusted and given a lot of playing time. It wasn't easy, and at the time I wanted to give it my all and prove myself to the new coach. But then, injuries interrupted everything."  

During adversity, Costa Nedelkovic received tremendous support from his family. He said, "My parents and siblings have always been my strongest support, encouraging me to stay positive every day."  

Anyone who had contact with the young player during his recovery period can attest to this. The Serbian international was always smiling, showed the utmost respect to every member of the club, and was always happy to sign autographs and take photos with RB Leipzig fans.  

It's worth noting that head coach Ole Werner played a crucial role in Costa Nedelkovic's recovery and development, consistently providing the defender with unwavering support. Costa Nedelkovic stated, "I communicate with the head coach every day. He has complete trust in me and has supported me throughout the process. I believe the opportunity will eventually come, and all I need to do is be ready."  

Costa Nedelkovic's teammates provided unwavering support throughout his injury recovery. During his absence, Ridler Baku gradually developed into a key player for the team and was re-elected to the German national team, an experience that greatly inspired the young Serbian defender.  

The player said, "Ridler Baku is a very good player and a very pleasant teammate. We communicate often, and the atmosphere is always relaxed. I still have a lot to learn from him; his speed on the wing is truly amazing."
