The 28-year-old Diaz recently signed a four-year contract with Bayern Munich from Liverpool. In an interview, Diaz said his primary goal is to help the team win the championship and that he is very happy to work with teammates such as Kane and Oliseh.

Diaz, from Colombia, played 148 games and contributed 41 goals during his time at Liverpool, helping them win one FA Cup, two League Cups and one Community Shield, as well as the Premier League title in the 2024/25 season.

"I'm very happy to be joining this great club, Bayern Munich," Diaz said in an interview. "My first impression is very good. Everyone is very welcoming to me and I'm looking forward to getting to know my new teammates better."

"Bayern Munich is a great fit for my career goals. I want to join an ambitious team, and Bayern Munich has an incredible history. Our goal is to win all the titles, and I hope to contribute and achieve success for the club as soon as possible."

Diaz said: "I can play as a center forward or on the wing. The coach told me that he prefers me to play on the left, but I will play wherever the team needs me, and helping the team is my top priority."

Diaz also revealed a conversation he had with former Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Wirtz while at Liverpool. "Wirtz told me that the pace of the Bundesliga matches is fast, comparable to the Premier League, and the stadiums are always packed," he said. "He also wished me good luck."

"Kane is an excellent and talented striker who will give me a lot of support, and Oliseh has similar characteristics to me. I will learn a lot from them and also benefit from other players like Neuer."

On the other hand, Bayern Munich will host Lyon from the French Ligue 1 in a friendly match at home to continue preparing for the new season of the Bundesliga.
