Another battle took place in the third round of the 2025/26 English League Cup. Tottenham Hotspur, at home, eliminated Doncaster 3-0 with goals from Palinha and Brennan Johnson.

Three minutes into the match, Tottenham Hotspur took the initiative to create an offensive opportunity. In the end, Tottenham Hotspur defeated Doncaster 3-0 at home.
