The final match of the 26th round of the 2025/26 Premier League season saw defending champions Arsenal draw 1-1 with Brentford after a goal from Maduk.

Four minutes into the match, Dzekeresh was pulled down by Garnett as he received the ball, and the referee showed Garnett a yellow card. In the 10th minute, Arsenal attacked from a corner kick, and Gabriel's header was blocked.

In the 20th minute, Brentford created an attacking opportunity. Matthias Jensen delivered a cross, and Igor Thiago headed the ball towards goal, but it was saved by Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya. In the 29th minute, Dzekeresh was cleared while dribbling forward. Subsequently, Dzekeresh pulled down an opposing player while contesting for possession, and was therefore shown a yellow card by the referee.

In the 43rd minute, as Dango Watara moved forward to receive a long pass from his teammate, Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya immediately rushed out to deny Brentford's shooting opportunity. In the 44th minute, Brentford continued their attack, with Lewis Potter taking a shot in the ensuing scramble, but it went wide.

At the start of the second half, Arsenal substituted Odegaard for Eze. Shortly after, Incapie passed the ball, but Dzekeresh couldn't create a shooting opportunity. In the 51st minute, Martin Zuwemendi passed to Trossard, whose shot was cleared. In the 54th minute, Trossard received the ball, broke through to the edge of the penalty area, and shot, but the ball struck an opposing player.

In the 58th minute, Ødegaard received a pass back from his teammate in the penalty area and unleashed a long-range shot, but the ball flew directly into the stands. In the 61st minute, Incapie dealt with the defense and chipped the ball into the box, where Maduk headed it into the net, giving Arsenal a 1-0 lead.

In the 64th minute, Matthias Jensen took a corner kick, and Lewis Porter headed the ball but it went wide. In the 67th minute, Igor Thiago received the ball and ran into the penalty area before shooting, but the ball was saved by Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya.

In the 71st minute, Kayorde took a throw-in, Van den Berg headed the ball across, and Lewis Porter headed it into the net, leveling the score at 1-1 for Brentford. In the 81st minute, Arsenal substituted Martinelli and Karafiori for Trossard and Incapie.

In the second half stoppage time, Timber dealt with the defense and made a diagonal pass. Martinelli stepped up and shot, but the ball was blocked by Brentford goalkeeper Kelleher.

Ultimately, Arsenal were held to a 1-1 draw by Brentford away from home.
