West Ham United successfully concluded their two-week pre-season tour of the United States with a 2-0 victory over Bournemouth in the Premier League Summer Series.

After the game, coach Graham Potter expressed high praise for the team's overall preparations, believing that the team has made significant progress in tactical understanding, team cohesion and game rhythm.

In the post-match interview, Porter said: "This period of time is very positive. Regardless of the results of the game, our two weeks in the United States, a week in Germany and the training camp in Rush Green have made the team take a step forward as a whole."

Porter particularly emphasized that the team not only enhanced their mutual understanding during this trip, but also coped with various challenges through competition and training. These experiences will become an important foundation for the new season.

In the matches against Everton and Bournemouth, West Ham United showed a stable performance in both front and back, with the forwards scoring goals and the defense keeping clean sheets. Potter pointed out: "Our forwards scored goals and our defenders kept clean sheets, which is a very good sign for the pre-season."

West Ham United will face Ligue 1 side Lille in their final friendly on August 9th before embarking on their new Premier League campaign. Returning to London to continue preparations, Potter expressed confidence in the team's form: "As long as we stay focused and improve bit by bit every day, I believe we will have a strong season."
