Jalen Williams doesn't think teams need a lot of veteran talent to succeed

Oklahoma City Thunder forward Jalen Williams recently talked about how the team responded to outside doubts about them with strength, and he did not think the team needed to rely on many senior veterans to achieve success.
In the 2024/25 NBA playoffs, the Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the Indiana Pacers 103-91 in the seventh round to win the championship. The 24-year-old Jaylen Williams played in 23 games for the Oklahoma City Thunder in that playoff season, averaging 21.4 points, 44.9% shooting, and 30.4% from three-point range.
It is worth mentioning that Gilgeous-Alexander and Chet Holmgren in the Oklahoma City Thunder lineup are both outstanding young players.
Jaylen Williams said, "Everyone has seen our behavior on and off the court, and that has never changed. Throughout the season, our biggest focus is how to get better in every game."

Jaylen Williams also said, "During the playoffs, facing those who said our team was 'too young', all of this became our motivation, and we devoted ourselves to showing the so-called 'maturity'."
"I don't think basketball has to have a lot of veterans to be successful. I certainly think veterans are useful, but people often overlook that our system and organization itself is like our 'veterans'."
