West Ham United have officially announced that Jean-Clair Todibo will complete the permanent transfer of the player on July 1 in accordance with the agreement reached with French Ligue 1 club Nice.
The defender joined the club last summer on a season-long loan with an option to make the move permanent for an undisclosed fee.
Jean-Clair Todibo made 29 appearances for the team in the 2024-25 season. Although he was affected by injury in the middle of the season, he successfully returned and started 12 games in the last 13 rounds of the Premier League, including key victories against Arsenal and Manchester United.
Additionally, Carlos Soler will return to Paris Saint-Germain following the end of his loan spell, while Evan Ferguson will return to Brighton.
Since joining in August 2024, Carlos Soler has started 15 games and made 18 substitute appearances. In the 3-2 home win against Fulham in January, he scored a crucial goal to help Graham Potter achieve his first Premier League victory as West Ham United coach.
In January this year, 20-year-old Evan Ferguson joined from Brighton. The striker played 8 times in the team, including 1 start and 7 substitutes.
All at West Ham United would like to thank Carlos Soler and Evan Ferguson for their contribution and dedication during their time at the Club and wish them all the best in their future endeavours.
