Thanks to contributions from Mark Williams, Dillon Brooks, and Grayson Allen, the Phoenix Suns narrowly defeated the Brooklyn Nets 106-102 in the latest round of the 2025/26 NBA regular season. Head coach Jordan Ott stated that the players continued to fight hard after making mistakes, but needed to remain calmer when facing setbacks during the game.

Mark Williams scored 27 points and had one assist in the game, Dillon Brooks added 26 points and 3 assists, while Grayson Allen contributed 18 points and 6 assists for the Phoenix Suns.

Phoenix Suns head coach Jordan Ott said in an interview, "We basically stayed calm. Jamari Boia made some key plays after returning to the game, and Grayson Allen showed resilience after a serious mistake. We just managed to fight for this victory."

"After the game against the Miami Heat, we discussed the team's inability to effectively penetrate the paint. Mark Williams' presence was felt from the start of the game. His talent on both ends of the court, whether it's screens, rebounds, or rim protection, he demonstrated his offensive impact from the very beginning."

Jordan Ott pointed out, "This game was very difficult to officiate. Both teams were playing hard, and we've had some frustrating moments this season, especially in the fourth quarter, so we have to do a better job of staying calm. Dillon Brooks controlled his emotions, which is really not easy. He could have reacted aggressively, but he found a way to get back on his feet and turned it into positive momentum."

In addition, Jordan Ott added, "We've been working hard to get Mark Williams to play more in the paint, especially against switching defenses. We absolutely need his ability in the paint in this game."
